Whats a good recipe i I use tinned tomatoes for please?? Looking for inspiration ....
I'm very much on the:o:o:o:o side
especially when you know you've got something particular in the garage but despite 20 minutes moving <ahem> a few bags you still can't find it :whistle:
OH uses a couple of cans in a Chicken & Bacon Merengo? in the S/Cooker
2 tins toms, 500g of chicken breasts browned with some smoked bacon chunks/slices/cubes, crushed garlic/onions/mushrooms also softened, chuck everything in slowcooker for the afternoon (Also add whatever herbs, salt pepper etc) and half an hour before ready thicken with a little flour/water mix and its yummy. We have it with Basmati rice but it will go with almost anything.:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS!
:p :rotfl:;)

Tiger I sometimes use this basic tomato sauce recipe- works just as well with tinned tomatoes and so much less faff. I can also heartily recommend the meatball stew. Serve with crusty bread et voila!Debt free 6th December 2014
