I've just been to the garage to replenish from my stocks... Oh my goodness, I think items are multiplying  I have soooo much stuff it's untrue - half of me wants to do a little jig and the other half is embarrassed :rotfl:

Whats a good recipe i I use tinned tomatoes for please?? Looking for inspiration ....

I'm very much on the :o:o:o:o:o side :D especially when you know you've got something particular in the garage but despite 20 minutes moving <ahem> a few bags you still can't find it :whistle:

OH uses a couple of cans in a Chicken & Bacon Merengo? in the S/Cooker

2 tins toms, 500g of chicken breasts browned with some smoked bacon chunks/slices/cubes, crushed garlic/onions/mushrooms also softened, chuck everything in slowcooker for the afternoon (Also add whatever herbs, salt pepper etc) and half an hour before ready thicken with a little flour/water mix and its yummy. We have it with Basmati rice but it will go with almost anything.
:p:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS! :p:p :rotfl:;)

See my post above and just copy it :rotfl:

Buy 12 crabbies (in whatever order you like. Confirmed flavours are original, spiced orange, raspberry, strawb and lime). Must be 12. Compares against T. Then fillers.
    Good AvT fillers are:
    Single Hartley's jelly 48p v 45p
    Sp custard creams
    Bombay potatoes
NEw pots with herb and butter
Asda flu max all in one chesty cough and cold tablet (16) £2 v 60p
    Sliced carrots in water
    Kidney beans
Chosen by you vanilla ice cream £1.50 v £1

Then the obligatory flump, 1 onion, 1 banana, 1 lemon, 1 mushroom, piece of ginger, 10p sweets, haribo etc. take your pick :rotfl:

Awww! thanks Tig X are the crabbies in packs of 12??? I will copy most of your above ;) want to go look for some halloween reductions for my hollow legged kids..... if my dh hurry up 7 finishes painting  I cant drive :(

Tiger I sometimes use this basic tomato sauce recipe- works just as well with tinned tomatoes and so much less faff. I can also heartily recommend the meatball stew. Serve with crusty bread et voila!
