Yes. Still have a year's supply of fairy from the 32 pence per bottle at Tesco Glitch.

Life is like a pipe and I'm a tiny penny rolling up the walls inside.

Thank you for all for the lovely comments, had so much fun making those. I've decided to apply for GBBO next year and give up working in film/TV for good. I can't spend another year hunting for work and driving all the time, it's been depressing to say the least. So next year I'm going to start looking for baking jobs as well (if GBBO won't have me).
ooh yes, apply for GBBO. I love it! love baking too. Would rather bake than cook "normal" food
In March I won an amateur cake decorating competition. I really wanted a stand mixer and that was the main prize plus plenty of others including the decorating lesson with Charlotte White of Restoration Cakes. She's been bust writing a book this year hence why the class was delayed. Really looking forward to it though :D

I was very spoilt and got a KitchenAid stand mixer for Xmas last year from my OH.. i'd opened pressies and then we went in the garage to get DS's battery powered jeep... i saw it wrapped on the table and i cried when i opened it :o i've never used something so much. well worth the investment.

Thanks (and to Thrifty too). I could not stare doe-eyed at him, he doesn't do it for me. His cheekiness does make me laugh though. Poor Mary :rotfl:

I used to quite like Paul. Gone off him big time now though :(

He's supposedly trying to get back with his wife. I'd would be telling him where to go :D
Yes, that was on R5 and also radio 2 earlier. A friend of mine is good friends with his wife..Apparently she is in talks to bring out her own cookery kind of show. she is supposed to be brilliant.

In fact on that subject, last year she got Paul Hollywood to write me a personal message in a book of his (OH arranged it as a xmas surprise). Sent via Royal Mail.... got lost in the post. Never appeared :( boo hoo.
