One for all you ink cartridge hoarders (again, courtesy of 10 wyas posts by others)

    £11 INK FOR 99P @ STAPLES..

    1. Get 5 empty HP ink's.. (maybe ask friends / family / school)
    2. They must be official HP cartridges
    3. Go along to a Staples store and select your ink
    4. Many HP ink's are £11 or less for black or single colours
    5. At the till say you have 5 empty inks to trade in..
    6. You will get £10 off the ink!!! If your ink is priced at £10.49 / £10.99 then you've got a new ink for 99p!!

This works on ANY HP ink... so even if your buying an XL pack for like £24 quid.. you will get £10 off... You can also trade in less... so if you only have 2 or 3 empties you will still get £4 / £6 off...
Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen

Ok, so I'm sitting here listening to the excellent "Merry Xmas, Baby" by Rod Stewart wrapping some presents (I know, hate me). Question: should I go the whole festive vibe and have a glass of sherry?

DH said "Whatever makes you happy, dear" when I asked him, but then he's an excellent husband and very well trained, so I don't know if that counts? Also, what if the beans finally compare and I have to dash out? Decisions, decisions. :D

Has anyone seen the Viners clearance sale on grabbit, plus 10.25% cashback on tcb. Thanks to frances23 and shanikang. Some good bargains to be had and free delivery available.

And midwinter, are you remembering there will be a JL in Y0rk in the new year?

I'll stop rambling now and wrap some presents.
    Hope is not a strategy.

Thank you I'll try this one. I have a few empty cartridges sitting around and my black has just run out. It's almost worth a special journey and sada is only a few miles further so 2 in one trip.

Got Gillette earlier - seems it's fixed tho. Apg not due for another ha f hour but I'm not hopeful.

    Went out to test

    10 x Birra Moretti 660ml
    2 x Crabbies Ginge 500ml
    plus fillers

But useless local A had no Birra left on shelves :(

At least it kept me occupied, although in an unpleasant environment for a while.

The nearest A that seems to stock snakes to me is 33 miles away. They don't do C&C, so may not have any stock, so not worth the petrol cost/risk

Sorry, I fell asleep waiting for the results.

    1 x Flora Original Spread (1Kg)£3.00£2.00
    1 x Swizzels Matlow Strawberry Refresher Bar£0.10N/A
    1 x Candyland Flumps Mallow Twists£0.10£0.10

    8 x Crabbie's Alcoholic Ginger Beer (500ml)£16.40 £10.00

    1 x Haribo Starmix£0.10£0.10

I wanted some spiced Orange Crabbies, as that should compare okay as well, but useless local A didn't have it.

    Afternoon All....
Just tried out my hopeful little glitch, not a huge one, but if you need some of these for chrimbo or just if they one of your favorites it may work out worth while. I don't have results back yet, will try to post, but my DS has a party to go to some miles out of town so needs dropping off in a while, then I play darts tonight. I'm not very good, it's only a fun ladies team but it is in the league. If I can match the 2 dart 59 shot out I got last week both myself, and the rest of the team will be delighted.
Anyway, back to that 'possible' glitch.....
Buy 12 in total, this was hinted at last night by another OP but sorry I can't remember who. :o So if it works it's a combined effort. :p
    Crabbie's Alcoholic Ginger Beer(500ml)£2.05
    Crabbie's Strawberry & Lime Ginger Beer(500ml)£2.05
    Crabbie's Raspberry Ginger Beer(500ml)£2.05
Go through till 3 for £5 in A's, but not on mys as they are on A's at 3 for £??5 ;);) and T's at 4 for £5. APG should see them at £2.05 each.... can someone clever do the maths please. :rotfl:

Now off to enjoy a hopefully nice chicken and ham pie and peppered wedges..... but thats another story. ;););):D

Good afternoon Peeps and Peepettes

elsie1969 - it worked on Monday, see my posted results. Hope it's still working for you.

No snakes anywhere near me, apart from delivery, so wouldn't mind trying this
