Oh how strange you should say that about the chainsaw .......actually quite spooky!

I came by a few logs on Thursday courtesy of a lady in our street. there were 2 smallish tree trunks just laid there on the street. She'd had a new fence put in and had a couple trees cut down to make way for it. She was stood admiring her new fence. So I complimented the fence and asked her what she was doing with the tree trunks. She said she hoped her son would get rid of them for her

......you can guess the rest :D it would have been rude not to!

My OH said....'please take the car...DO NOT go walking up the street with a chainsaw ' :)

Can guess your hallowen costume then:rotfl:

I have read something tonight that has really touched me.....Im always reading things :o

I love quotes, I especially love quotes from people with something to say. this is from a non communicative autistic child

Human beings are hard-wired to connect. We are drawn to one another by our own chemistry. We produce attachment hormones that create intimacy. We build neural bridges that bond us, brain to brain... heart to heart.
Those bonds, once formed, are not meant to be broken.

    Made me cry :o

Yes, I think he's having a short break. Wouldn't catch me on a ferry in this weather

......I start my flying lessons next week :eek: I have a few classroom lessons before I take to the skies. I'm wondering now if I should've waited until spring :o

I believe DM was less than 1/4 mile from me and did not call in for a cuppa.
In his own words 'how rude'.
Could have given him my order while he was here.:rotfl::rotfl:

Well the thing is I want to do it. It's going to take about 3 years and what am I going to do once Ive did it? (I will get the pilots license :D) I have a feeling I'll have just scratched that itch and I'll move on......it's more of a challenge thing than a desire to fly forever. I can see my OH virtually shaking his head as I speak.

We had a few 'harsh words' the other night and he told me I was a person who likes to be able to 'do' something, without necessarily using the skills Ive learned (get him:eek:) and he sees it as a waste. it was a really interesting conversation :o

That must have been an interesting conversation. At this moment in time you do not know if you will use the skill or not but nice to have. Chap down my way flies transport organs around. Not what he expected to do with his skill but very useful.
Maybe your oh is worrying he might get dragged up there at some point when his life on the ground is just starting to feel comfortable.

Big hugs mhoc. Filling your boxes will help you feel in control.
A question for box fillers. Do we have to put contents in a shoe box (if so will need to buy new shoes for said boxes:T).
Lad next door is in army so was going to ask if he could take boxes back with him one weekend. Collected quite a few bits. Black tshirts are proving a problem. Primark have some cheap ones and vests but what is the average size or do they swap things. Primark also have packs of lovehearts which are strangley on the list.
Sure I can find some boxes on fleabay. Lots of cats and toothpast sample sizes, brushes and was going to get small watercolour kits from the works although I would have thought a bit hot out there. Have lots of little watercolour pads and sure can talk my local art store to giving a few things.
Will find the list tomorrow and get started making boxes up. I thought the birthday cards for them to send was a good idea too.

Picked the snakes up. What confused me is that the SEL was 10 pounds.. Scanned at 9 anyway.

Had a scare earlier. I'd got 500 pounds in my cupboard.. Well a lady across the street witnessed some men park up in a transit van at 2am the other day, check everyones car doors and house doors on the street.. She called the Police but as the address is new they didn't have our postcode on the system and couldn't find the street so the chancers got away.

Well I thought I'd hide the money in a cereal box under the cereal just in case haha. Anyway I forgot to tell my partner and what did she do? Ate the rest of the cereal this morning and through the box away! Luckily I rescued it in time ;/
