Been on a snake hunt in Liverpool this afternoon and I'm pleased to say I caught me a pair. They've shown me much love with a confirmed lively APG. :j

I have visited several Vivariums in that area to peruse my new hobby of snake watching, buy unfortunately have found them all to be in hibernation. Would be grateful to know where their are any active ones available.

Mr TS was hoping to get some free logs from a willow that lost a branch last night in the storm. He was going to wait until dark as it is on council owned land near us but they have already been along and chopped it up.

    He snoozed and loosed. :rotfl:

Not sure what would have happened if he had been chopping it up when they turned up. :o

Ive just learned to be totally brazen TS and ask.....and everytime I have, the 'log owner' just wants rid. I have my log radar on at all times :D chances are the council will be recycling it anyway

Tell him to bat his eyelashes next time ;):D :rotfl:

I'm not even sure why he wanted them we don't have a log fire anymore.

We had it taken out after our chimney fire, frightened me for life. :(

Hi, have you tried Lidl for meat, I bought some pork loin a few weeks ago on offer, good quality too. I also look after lunch time usually in the reduced meat bit in @ or t for the 50% reduced. Just freeze it when I get home or make the mince into burgers and freeze. I very rarely manage the 75% reductions unless its bread!! We were in t a few weeks ago on a Saturday afternoon around 1 pm ish when the man was there with the yellow stickers. I got around £40 off assorted meat products for just less than £20 and filled the freezer..:) might be worth looking in your local to see if you can judge what times as stores seem to vary. Hth:)

Hi, no I haven't, I was worried about the quality of it? Perhaps its worth a try then?

We don't have a T, and our A is stingy lol.
I can't go after 3pm and the reductions normally only have pennies taken off them so a lot of the stuff I look at and think its still more than I would want to pay - may as well pay full price and have it fresher really for the amount you can save!
Though I do usually get tomatoes, strawberries and blueberries and spinach with maybe 20-50p reductions.

Wow what a haul! It must have felt like Christmas! :-)

Yes, I think he's having a short break. Wouldn't catch me on a ferry in this weather

......I start my flying lessons next week :eek: I have a few classroom lessons before I take to the skies. I'm wondering now if I should've waited until spring :o

Next door but one's apple tree came down this morning, so hoping to get some small logs from that (we just have a little wood burner). Saddened to see on the news this evening that someone was killed in Watford by a falling tree. It happened just a few hundred yards from where my inlaws live :(
