Is this England or Wales ? On their rejection did they give a popla code?

Write back and say the driver didn't see the signs, their pre estimate of loss bears no resemblance of the amount demanded, and that they have no contract to issue or pursue drivers with these invoices. Inform them that you look forward to taking this to popla if they reject, where they uphold all appeals on those grounds.

And remind them that under the bpa code of practice they have 35 days to accept or reject appeals.

And when you do get a POPLA code, come back and read examples and info showing you how to win at POPLA:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/62180281#Comment_62180281

Lots of links there but it's EASY. The many links are to show you a certain pattern of wording!

When it comes to POPLA stage, by all means copy someone's wording in one of the linked threads there and adapt it to suit your case, making sure you include the killer points Stroma has already mentioned. Any queries at that stage show us your draft POPLA appeal for checking by the experts here first.

We win 100% of the time at POPLA at the moment and we are keen to continue with that.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Well finally got a reply from the parking cowboys after sending them the conclusive evidence they wanted of the absence of signs and the fact contractors vehicles and shoppers being parked there everyday (number plates not exposed. Got the standard reply that everyone seems to get Appeal refused and finally a poppla number oh and they recommend I download the appeal form from there website lol ( I don't think so ) is it advisable to just ignore these idiots

Ignore them of course, but appeal to popla now you have a code to do so. Take pleasure in the money you are going to cost them. Read the sticky threads for the latest advice in putting your appeal together. Come back here and post it up before sending so we can ensure its a winner.

  • Why ignore these scammers now when you have the golden opportunity to kill this parking charge once and for all at POPLA?

You WILL win on the points given in Stroma's post#4 above but there are also a few others you could include in link below

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4816165

Also read the sticky thread POPLA Decisions (working backwards)

Main winner todate is GPEOL but there have been recent victories over no contracts. Put as many appeal points as possible as the PPC will have to address all points you give and several appeals have been won by the PPC's failure to address points raised.

And as stated above put up your appeal on this thread before submitting to POPLA (which can be done on-line via POPLA's website)
  • You will also have the added pleasure of knowing it's cost them around £120.00.
