Got a letter this morning saying.. I am writing to tell you that the medical certificate that you sent us, which covers the period from 18 october 2013 to 31 october 2013 is about to run out. Please send another certificate by 1 november 2013.
Don't get this atall, my medical certificate was for 4 weeks, do you think that letter was a mistake?

Are you very sure of this date, and that it wasn't for example backdated 2 weeks at the time you sent it say.0

Why not get one that runs for 13 weeks from your GP. Makes much more sense. Then mark it down in a diary to remind you nearer when it runs out.0

If you phone on Monday you will either find they did not receive your med cert yet and they have extended your 7 day self cert to your payday which is 31/10/2013...
Or they have now received it on 24th or the 25th and they have entered it now onto the file till Nov 14th
Or they did receive it and took it in error as 2 weeks.0 -
