Help with switching please!

We're currently with Eon on their Eon energy plan.
We can switch to another plan with them and i am now faced with 2 options 1 yr fixed or 2...
What's the best way to go?

  • Another question on behalf of my father.
Can you switch if you are in debt?
If not then how can this be cleared before the price hikes?

Depends how much debt and what type of meter you have. Debt can always be cleared by paying it.

    Good morning sistafromanothermista,

Do you mean switch tariff when you're in debt?

If so then yes, you can change from one E.ON tariff to another even with a balance on the account.

It may be a good idea to have a look at the monthly payments to make sure the account won't fall further in to debt, especially if the new tariff is going to be a bit more expensive than the previous.

    Hope this helps a little.

    Helena :)
