Car Key Fob battery replacement

One of the key fobs supplied with my Suzuki Swift has stopped working - I assume that it is the battery
When I replace it - do I have to "associate" the keyfob back with the car or does it automatically "catch up" ?

You need to be fairly quick - you have a certain amount of time (IIRC it is between 10 seconds and 2 minutes, depending on manufacturer) before fob and car need re-aligning. I had the dealer do mine at the last service. They didn't charge me.
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.

Best if you check what it says in the manual for your car.

I know it's just a simple replacement for the keys to my Yaris but it might be different with other manufacturers.
