I have a feeling the answer here will be a straight "NO", but I'm going to ask for an opinion anyway!
I applied for the American Express Preferred Rewards Gold card 3 months ago and was unsuccessful in my application. I put my occupation down as a student on the application.

- 21 instead of 20 years old
- Changing my occupation to "Working full time" (and have now been employed longer at my place of work)
- Have an additional 3 months of good credit history
