  • £150 a month!

I live on my own but I have just fixed at £62 a month and i don't have gas.

You need to look at where your consumption is going.

Agree. I'm in the north west living alone in a large detached chalet style bungalow. Currently paying £37/m with npower "Electricity online November 2013" which ends at the end of Nov.
I don't watch tv but laptop is on 10.00 to 00.30 every day.
2 larger (23w) energy efficient lights come on with a time clock at dark 'till 1am whether I'm around or not. 2 more when in my office which is most of the time. 6 outside lights on sensors. Oil fired boiler.

Fixing with npower 'till April 2015 is indicated at £40/m
    Dec 2017 £46.50/m
