I don't know wether that will actually do any good, as the offer is for existing sky "FREESAT" customers only, it has all my details and my "FREESAT" account number, I can tell you as much about it as you like, and have typed up the transcript of it below, I received my new viewing card yesterday and it was all set up by last evening. I just had the telephone call from Sky, offering 3 months FREE use, as I signed up for the Freesat, costing £150, some time ago. Included was the £50 vouchers from M & S. Wife will love them, and they will call me two weeks before the expiration to see if I want to carry on with Sky, if not, I just go back to Freesat. Really good freebie, cheers, Woodville.

I've just taken them up on this offer, and I really can't see any drawbacks other than remembering to revert to FreeSat before they start fleecing me £43/month at the end of September. They took my offer number on the posted letter, the number on the FreeSat card, and one cup of tea later all the channels were on. No telephone line connected or required - they update over the sat link. Apply quick before it runs out on the 30th!

I've heard that Sky+ will be free (even if you don't have a premium package) from July. Haven't even Googled for this to see if seems true, but I will probably go for that when the 3 months are up.

Oh my god, they took 43.50 from my account, and because we recalled it I have now had a bill for 87.00 + 4.00 charges, I just knew this would go pearshaped, SKY are absolutely C--P very dissatisfied.

Oh!!!! and to top it all, they have not sent me the M&S vouchers either

I will have to watch mine i had an invoice from them yesterday saying that sky is going up to £45 and they will take my first payment on sept 15th which is when the the 3 months is up..but I still have not had my £50 voucher and the marks sale is on as well.hope no one else is having problems.

When my freind introduced me to sky, i received 60 pounds of m&s vouchers and also went via quidco getting an extra 50!

11/7/07 recalled £43.50 and cancelled DD
11/7/07 Telephoned cust svcs total call time from mobile 12mins, promised to sort out for me. :rolleyes:
13/7/07 date letter sent from sky, DD failed (no it didn't!!!! I recalled the money) I now owe £87.00 plus £4.00 for invoice charge :mad:
19/7/07 just back from hol opened letter and rung SKY cust svcs, (another 7 1/2 mins mobile call thats over 20 mins now) yes they have details of my last phone call, will pass on to the correct dept, and will send vouchers, very sorry (Yeah right) will get refund onto my account. :rolleyes:

I am not holding my breath, at least they can't take money as I cancelled DD, but hubby says SKY are likely to issue a CCJ for non payment! :eek:
