switching provider confirmation

I went through quidco and confused and signed up to switch energy provider. it said all was done and I would receive a confirmation email telling whats done next. should this email be instant if its worked as I have not received an email and when I go through quidco it shows ive done nothing.

don't want to do it twice causing problems
