Hello,
I've just activated my platinum cashback card and registered my online account. However I've then spent at least 20 minutes trying to hunt down the option to set-up direct debit. The only option on payments is to pay bill by debit card and I've checked under all the menu options that I could see and not found anything.
It does say an a FAQ on the website that this is possible to do online but not any specifics.
Capital One took me 2 minutes to sort out as the option was in an obvious place.
Could anyone direct me to it?
Thanks

Nevermind I've found the form you need to print out and send....it's like living in the dark ages.Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)

There was an online form to complete, as I distinctly remember filling out. It was also there for me to change my DD details recently.
It didn't work very well to be honest, it seemed hit and miss whether it worked correctly, but it seems to have gone from my online portal. Looks like they may have pulled it.43580 -
Its a lot easier to call them up and set it up over the phone0

It's a joy to ring up American Express.
I've always found their customer service sooooooooo good. I have not had the same high quality service from any other company.0 -
Did mine by secure message, seemed odd they didn't have a specific form, but advising them of the correct details meant it all went through ok.
Still can't get used to getting statements from the us though, really bizarre.0 -
Set up via phone it was very quick and easy so I forgive them for the strange lack of an online set up option.Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)
