Keep the note and take date-stamped photos of your car just in case it mysteriously gets keyed (or worse) by the "owner" of the space.

Nothing ignores note writers more than it just being completely ignored. They will never say anything but inside they will be very irritated.

Whilst I might be tempted to leave the car in the parking space forever more,:mad: you could just be mature and not make an issue of this and just park there when it is available.

Your neighbour sounds like an idiot but you probably don't want to escalate any conflict as this may lead to all sorts of issues

If the neighbour is wanting to cause a problem with the parking then it's not that you are at fault..

Wow, I hadn't expected my car parking problem to get so many responses. Feeling a lot more laid back now. I'll let you know if I get any more notes (neither I or the car are at the flat this weekend).

Though sounds like there's a pretty good chance the car will just blow away overnight.
