Will NPower honour quotes given before price hike?

NPower's customer service people seem rather vague on whether having agreed to switch on 17 October that quote would be honoured.. I have emailed the CEO on the matter but to date have no answer one way or the other

If they've confirmed your switch then they should honour the tariff that was agreed even if you are still in the cooling off period. Hopefully you've got an e-mail confirmation of the tariff that you are switching to.

It's been very obvious that all the tariffs have been going to increase and that many of the tariffs are now being withdrawn so trying cut it as close as you can to the switchover date may find that you've missed out. There is now a ginormous backlog of those who are now panicking that they might have missed the boat and will now have to wait and see what the energy companies are going to do. It's not clear what the individual company's policies might be - I'd guess it depend how overloaded they might be

If you applied before the cut off it will be fine
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
