Saved listings

When creating listings you can click save for later. I had 5 listings saved, all of which I was planning on listing this weekend, but it seems they've all been deleted.

How long does ebay remember these listings for?

I don't know but I can't get rid of my partly completed listings!

As long as you have a photo to upload, as it doesn't allow you to save without one, you can use the schedule system to store listing ready for a FLW. Just put them on for a date well in advance, and then edit and list on a FLW.

I can't remember if I had photos, probably not. Maybe that's why they deleted them as they've now brought in all the new photo rules

Had them saved for a couple of weeks and I know they were there a few days ago. Had partly completed listings there for far longer than a few weeks before. Just typical that they're deleted just a day or so before I was about to list them.

Doesn't using the schedule cost? I don't want to spend more than I have to, that's why I just saved them ready for the next free listing weekend lol.

I thought you could only save 1 draught listing at a time? Each time you save another one, it overwrites the last saved one doesn't it?

I think the only way round it is to use the scheduling method as soolin says above.

It shows a cost when you 'schedule' them but as long as you list manually, and don't allow the system to list for you then the charge does not get applied.

You can save up to 5 then it starts overwriting them. Although, the other week I tried to list something, it gave me an error and just saved the listing which means it had overwritten a previous one. I tried again to list it which worked and the other listing reappeared. Might just have been a glitch or the way it saved the failed listing though.

Oh right, that's good to know then. Might do that :)

Do you mean when you start a listing then abandon it before saving or listing?

If so, then you can exit a partly completed listing and when you
start to list another item the
    "Heading" comes up
"Please complete your listing" underneath this is
    "Category" and underneath that is
"Delete" in brackets, just click on that, and you are asked
Are you sure you want to delete this partly completed listing - Yes or No,
Click Yes and your "partly completed listing" is gone.

Hope this is what you mean.
Looking forward to the day I have nothing left to list on eBay
