Sainsburys still seem to have Barkeepers Friend - or at least they did when I last bought it. It does last for ages though! I have one of those big white sinks and it works great on that. If Sainsburys don't have it any more, Lakeland or Robert Dyas or an alternative hardware store will have it.

Now you mention it, I haven't seen it for ages. I can't seem to buy star drops anywhere either.

Home Bargains sell it too, also large Asda

    I use this

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Astonish-Oven-Cookware-Cleaner-500g/dp/B000TBK7PI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1382911928&sr=8-1&keywords=astonish

It says oven and cookware cleaner, but it really should say "Cleans just about anything off anything".

The other day someone told me chalk dust is the best thing to clean stainless steel.
  • Aldi sell Barkeeper's Friend once a year as a special buy at Spring cleaning time!

I am currently using Revive Power Paste which cleans just about anything you care to name! I bought mine on Skipton market but would guess it's available nationwide.
