Hi I am in the process of transferring by domain and hosting. I do not have access to the files as the people who created it are no longer in exsistance. I understand that they FTP the files. How can I copy over the content?

I cannot get you further than that, it is a long time since I used Godaddy, I find their whole system confusing to be honest.

Try FTP access - if you don't have an FTP client, filezilla is excellent and free.
FTP access is usually needed in order to copy the PHP, any databases, etc0 -
