New mobile Forgot wifi password HELP!

I have a new mobile and have managed how to make and store phone no's Don't yet how to text.
I have until now not wanted to connect to the internet but this time I would like to do so.
My big problem is that I can't remember my password for wifi
Can anyone help me.
Would appreciate the phone is Nokia Lumia 520 which the chap in the shop said would be all I needed. I have not had a touch phone before and he also took some things off to make it simpler for me. Says they are still there. I am so grateful this forum as what would I do without it.

It's in your Router. What model of Router do you have and who supplies your Internet?

The Router is Netgear and the Internet provider is AOL.
I had a desktop and then my family bought me a laptop. I had a problem a year or so ago and my Grandson did something and I got it back I should have written it down then
I bought a wireless Printer and the previous phone I didn't use it as such. Now I would like to be able to use it on internet.

I don't know is this is the information you need. i am very grateful to you.

For Netgear, try typing 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 into the address bar of your laptop or PC already connected to the Internet.

or look on the bottom of the router. If it was provided by the ISP it'll probably have the key on the bottom

Problem solved I called AOL and the lady who dealt with me instructed me and I was able to get the password.
I have always found them to be extremely helpful and polite.
Whenever I talk to them they also give me something new a new deal or in this case they are sending me a new router free of charge.]
She tells me that the one I have is old and that the new one will be faster. I now have to work out what I need to do next with the phone. I can speak to Nokia again now I have the information I require.
With all that is going on I have forgotten to have lunch.
Once again thank you all so much for pointing me in the right direction. With AOL even though it is an 0844 no it is free for me to access. Nokia has an 0844 no but I got an 0845 no and with my phone package it if free.
Need to work out how to text!
