tiling a a shower

Hi, I am about to tile above the a shower tray, should I tile tight to the shower tray or leave a small gap (say 2mm) at the bottom. If I leave a small gap should I grout first and then use sealant or fill gap completely with sealant. Also would that be the same for the internal corner of the shower area.
Thanks for any help.

2mm gap, only use silicon, and silicon up the internal corner.
