Your getting sewn up by your fitter he is easily making a grand off that kitchen. ask for the quote then post the discounts on here. Also get a new design who can get the views right, white sides on the top box with floaty bits of pelmet on it. For 5.5k you could have a much better design, with a better extractor and more wall unit storage. Go into Magnet and see what they can do

    Thanks Adam

something doesnt add up though , my fitter/builder has sent magnet in as well , and there prices are visible to the public , so why would he put so much on the howdens kitchen ?

He is also happy to fit a kitchen i supply but the worry of getting it wrong shopping solo scares me off which sort of plays into howdens/magnets hands...
Plus he will charge extra for fitting flat pack....

What suppliers send units same as howdens rather than flat pack ? , ideas welcome!

Magnet operate the same as howdens, they can give you one price then knock more off for him. Benchmarx kitchens are ready made, where in the country are you?

  • I had Howdens and Magnet quotes. Magnet was a couple of hundred pounds more.

We need to see a unit list really.

I've just had a Glendevon Cream installed, 12 units, albeit I didn't have three corner units (which will be expensive) at a cost of £3150. That was with three tall units for cookers, freezer etc and a magic corner. I had three tall end panels which added to the cost though.

That was excluding worktops, appliances as I got branded elsewhere and obviously fitting on top too.

    Does your price include fitting?
