I've just been having a nose on RM at sold prices in the location we moved from two years ago and whilst doing so I noticed that the house we sold (May 2011) currently states 'Rightmove property details as of June 2013', yet all the pics displayed are those from when we had it on the market ourselves.

Does this imply our buyers have been looking at selling? Or is it merely a RM glitch as surely otherwise they would be current pics showing the new owners' furnishings/decoration, not ours?

Silly question, I know but just curious as DH and I had a feeling they (like us) wouldn't settle in the area........:o

the pics on rightmove will be the pics from when it was most recently listed on right move
if it was for sale now it would have a link saying currently on the market and almost certainly have new photos

Yeah, that's what I thought ging84 the pics are definitely from when we had it for sale (2011), there's no linky to say it's currently on the market and what confused me was the bit saying - 'Rightmove property details as of June 2013' as if it had been for sale in June - I'm pretty sure it wasn't, as being a nosey biatch I do check from time to time, lol :D

Anyway, thanks all for your input :)

If you're looking at sold property prices, it usually lists the previous sale prices, and also any sets of photos from previous listings.
For example, on Rightmove I can see photos if my grandparents house from when it was sold 2 months ago, and I can also see photos of my mom's house from when it was listed 5-7 years ago, even though she took it off the market soon after and decided not to sell.

I think it's so you can see the kind of money the property fetches, and what condition it's in for that price etc. :)
