Funny you should mention that - in amongst the scottish power announcement yesterday they also announced their figures for a "average" house are being lowered.
Ofgem recently announced that from January 2014, it will reduce its benchmark typical annual consumption values for electricity to 3,200kWh (3% reduction) and for gas to 13,500kWh (18% reduction). This reflects the significant increase in energy efficiency investment in GB over the last few years.0 -
Maybe I should use my mums as a bit of a ceiling. Here there's 5 people living in a 3 bed detached house. The house we're moving to is better insulated also, so I'd guess our usage will not be equal to or greater than my mums.0
