wheelchair repair taking too long

My son had his very expensive electric wheelchair damaged by baggage handlers. The travel company have agreed to pay for repairs so no problems there. The problem has arisen with the well known firm who are doing the repairs.
They collected the chair on the 26th August and warned us they wouldn't be able to get it on the bench for three weeks. Three weeks ago they made arrangements to bring the chair back but never turned up. When we phoned them they said they had found more repairs needed doing. Still no chair.
My son has had to buy a replacement basic power chair as he cannot self propel.
My question is. What is the best way to put a rocket under this firm who we will still have to use in the future?
