Credit Card Limit and Mortage

Hi
I was wondering if having too much credit limit on my credit cards can negatively affect how much I can apply for on a mortage. My Tesco card have doubled my credit too 8k in the last 2 years and have a 2k limit on a capital one card. Does the more credit I have available on card reduce the amount lenders would allow me on a mortage.
I know the limits arent massive but as I will be applying for a mortage on my own not with a partner I don't want my credit card limits to have a negative affect as currently both cards have a zero balance.

lol I've been asking very similar questions in the thread below. Mixed views. Depends on your income. But if you're concerned about it and you don't need a credit limit that high you can always request for them to be reduced. I just declined a credit limit increase for same reason as you.Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)
Savings target June 18 - £22,281.99 / £25,0000
