Good, old Powerhouse insurance!

Dear All
Please help with any info, advice or suggestions regarding Powerhouse insurance. My partner purchased a TV 4 years ago and insured it through the company. After four years of not claiming, we would be entitled to have our money back. However, since the company does not exist anymore and the parent company seems to be more illusive than Houdini we are unsure whom to contact or is it even possible to claim our money back. Please help!

Hi, alice. I've just reclaimed £150 which I paid to powerhouse for insurance on a bosch dishwasher about 5 years ago. I didn't claim on the insurance, this was a "ServicePlus" plan, so was entitled to the claim back. You're right- there's little info available although I was able to track down the people I had to write to through the Derby Gripe website. Here's a link. I hope it helps.
