I have signed up for first utility today on the v11 tariff fixing until may 2015 and I'm very happy with the deal. Currently with ebico and have been happy with them for the last three years. The savings on this tariff with first utility are £396 per year which is amazing as far as i am concerned. I also have solar panels on the roof which also should increase that saving further i dont benefit from the feed in tariff as its a housing association property but overall I'm very pleased. If you experience difficulty getting through to first utility just persist with it its taken me almost two days to get to speak to someone to sign up as it currently taken in excess of 40 mins or so to get through. The wait is worthwhile:beer:

I am with OVO currently contempating switching to first utility as they are cheapest to me in my region. Isave tarrif
Cheap but apparantly very poor customer service/satisfaction ratings.
But cheaper through cashback sites

Yes i was aware of the supposed poor customer service however i am willing to give them a try and see what happens and if the worst comes to the worst i will change again. I read many reviews online but usually many reviews on suppliers tend to be the complaints only not the praise. Will see what happens what can go wrong with an energy supplier lol?0

I for one over the past 12 months have had very good customer care from first utility and they are easy to contact via phone and their monthly, visual on line bills are regular and clear, and my £212 credit was returned within days in the summer. A very good year with first utility and there is always a reminder to send in the gas and electricity monthly reads to keep the account up to date. I cannot fault them, I say well done first utility.0
