    Likewise i would want to consider all options unless you are locked in to Apple .

    If it's between iPad 4 and iPad Air, definitely wait a week till the Air is out. Far better device, same price. No brainer. I'm not aware of the 4 being significantly discounted, they'll already have let the stock run down so they don't have to sell them off, and after that if you want a 'cheap' iPad they'll sell you the massively outdated iPad 2, which you should NOT buy.

    I would go for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Ed) it knocks the iPad into the next universe!!
