  • My advice would be to contact the OR again before replying to the most recent email, outlining her new living and financial arrangements.

    OR was informed when she moved, he knows the date of move/her new address and her b/f details.
  • I sometimes transfer some money to daughter's account to help out but she has no income of her own.

    Your transfer to your daughter will not be treated as income by the Official Receiver.

    Although to make it completely plain that these are gifts, I would suggest that you transfer different amounts at irregular intervals, ie not a standing order for £200 on the 1st of the month. Th

    Thank you - this is wht I do, I transfer bits and pieces here and there when she needs prescriptions or any personal items really.

  • sorry cant really offer any advice but my mum used to transfer money into my bank to just help out now and then. I asked her to stop despite needing it as i dint want it showing on my bank statement. Now she treats me to an Asda gift card every so often it really helps and it does not show up.

    Thanks - I think it is all sorted. Daughter called the OR, explained that b/f pays all bills/food etc, they told her to fill in the paperwork with a note about that and send back to them.
