I am going to buy one, I am going part time as of Sept(when DS starts school),and am going to slow cook our tea for every night.
Can somebody tell me which one to buy, I want to be able to throw it in, at about 7.30 and then give him(and me and the little one) tea at about 4.30. Anybody got any ideas, I have never used them before but want us to eat much healthier(and cheaper).
Also, anybody give me some idea of what kind of food, meat wise and what will go with it.
Ta for any help

Hiya
You'd get more advice over on the Money Saving Old Style board re slow cookers.
From personal experience, they are great. From Spag Bols to stews to soups......I love half a leg of lamb in mine, meat just falls off the bone.
I have a Morphy Richards one, cant tell you what size it is as my mum gave me her old one, but it works a treat.I also remember the words of my friends, but I would rather have enemies than friends like you
would like to make it known that ZubeZubes avvy is a DHN, she's not dancing

OOohhhh they are fantastic!!
:T
I got one from my mom as a pressie and its one of the most useful pressies ever. Food tastes so yummy and of course very healthy if you put in all the vegies, which mingle with the meat and the flavours all mingle and the kids just love it!
Enjoy!0
