It depends how desperate you are to move out and whether you're willing to compromise on location.
You can pick up a 1 bed flat in Barking for £100k. Sure it might not be considered the greatest area, but when you're buying your first place you're always going to have to compromise.0 -

Add elec/gas/water, bus to work, tube into town for nights out, beer and food while out and in, phone bill, broadband and Sky.
Also, a two bed in Bethnal Green for 200k doesn't sound realistic. It's surely closer to 300k?0
