Hi all @ MSE
I have had a wirless connection to my desktop for about 6 months using my Sky Netgear Wirless router with absolutly no problems.
I have recently bought a Dell laptop and have set it up on the wireless network. It works perfect up untill 30-40 mins online and the connection drops off and dissapears. The desktop or laptop cannot find my network until I turn my router on and off again.
I have checked my firewall settings and all other settings in the router menu as I can think of and i'm totally stuck!
Can anyone suggest anything??
Thanks
PS. AS I WRITING THIS AND WENT TO HIT 'SUBMIT NEW THREAD' THE CONNECTION DROPPED AGAIN.....HELP!!!!!!

Has your network got a unique name (SSID) and is your channel suitably spaced from other networks near by?
Check for clashes with this http://www.netstumbler.com/downloads/Apparently I'm 10 years old on MSE. Happy birthday to me...etc0 -
As stevemcol said. The last time (in fact last few times) I had wireless connection problems, it was all down to channel selection. More and more people getting wireless routers is only going to add to the problem unfortunately."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"
