looking for new current account - help!

hello everyone

newbie user who's looking looking for some help please.

my wife and i have been discharged bankrupts since april last year. we have a basic account with co-op but are looking to change as we are unhappy with their service (credit checked for a savings account among many irritants).

idealy we'd like a "proper" current account, as it helps with internet transaction but understand that we may not be elegible.

we have had a couple of glitchs over the past year with dd's bouncing and we need a parachute account as we are going to try to reclaim some charges

can you suggest who are the more "lenient" banks for adverse (really crap) credit scores and who best to apply to?

many thanks in advance
