Getting a printed statement out of NatWest?

I signed up to paperless statements on the basis that I could order a printed statement when I wanted one. But having signed into my online banking, I can't see any option to do this. There's a new option to download a PDF of my statement, but that's not good enough as my council wants an original document and states that downloaded documents are not acceptable.

Does anyone know where this option has gone?

Thanks!!

In theory you should still be able to order paper statements through online banking (you get to order statements of up to 3 months twice in any 12 month period free of charge) but the online banking option does seem to have vanished (even though according to their site it should still be there), your best option is probably to just phone and order them.

Glad to know it's not just me going mad!

I did it via their phone service (which was completely automated, so they clearly still have the infrastructure to cough them up...) Hope I don't get charged though.
(I've never understood charging for statements - you'd think you should be able to get 12 free every year to encourage you to be paperless!).

You can ask in branch for a print out of your statement. They will stamp and sign the statement too for you.

Is this council request a one off or will they want copies in future?
If so I would suggest going back to paper statements and buying a new pair of shoes!

NatWest only produced statements quarterly now unless you request them monthly.
