Welcome db7,
Haven't tried goji berries yet so can't advise...was about to pick up a pack one day...put them back smartly when I saw the price!

DH loves these. He has plain yoghurt for breakfast topped with any mixture of nuts and seeds, a sprinkle of gogi berries and topped off with runny honey. Sets him up a treat for the day.I'd rather be a could-be if I cannot be an are; because a could-be is a maybe who is reaching for a star. I'd rather be a has-been than a might-have-been, by far; for a might have-been has never been, but a has was once an are – Milton Berle0

I put them in clear soups! Our favourite is a few chopped up spare ribs, chunky carrots, winter melon, a few dried figs and a large handful of goji berries.
If you have a large ethnic supermarket nearby, have a look in there for goji berries. They'll be near the dried ingredients for soup making. (I saw a small packet in Sainsburys and they were wanting £3.99 for them!!!)I have the mind of a criminal genius. I keep it in the freezer next to Mother....0 -
Thanks for the responses and the kind welcomes!
I bought 1Kg for £15 incl p&p. I'm still swallowing them whole and hoping they'll do me some good!0 -
I bought some chocolate covered ones from Holland and Barratt the other day. I've not tried them yet tho. My mum used to put them in my porridge when I lived at home years ago (a bit of a trendsetter when it comes to health food is my mum) but it just resulted in me looking very ill as I tried to swallow them whole but inevitably failed. Urgh. I'm hoping they don't still taste as horrid as I remember them otherwise the chocolate covered ones will be going in the bin!0

I like them in muesli or on yoghurt, but only if other fresh or dried fruit are involved.
They taste a little musty to me!0 -
They sell them in Julian Graves and they are on a very good offer at the moment. :jI heart The Capital0

I got the pack of free goji berries today from Holland and Barrett (free with voucher from dailey express)
They apparently are a superfood and a bit like cranberries, so how to use them, beyond sticking on cereal.
BTW I am not a very confident or experienced cook so easy recipes please, although I am learning and happy to try most things with simple instructions0 -
Muffins? They're pretty straightforward.:wave:0

Have you tried eating one to see if you like the taste? A friend of mine brought some into the office and insisted that we all eat them due to their *health-giving* properties. We all nibbled nervously and spat them out  I use everything, including leftovers, so this was unusual for me.
Chuck them on the compost heap and have a satsuma
