No idea, I had previously searched on BBC recipes and UKTVFood sites but no luck!

But I have just googled and found this site:

This site also mentions using them for flapjack type bars:

  • well I've just tried them and I think I'm going to try eating them on breakfast cereal. I seem to remember gillian mckeith harping on about them.

What did you think of them - I wasn't that impressed to be honest.

  • Aren't these the berries that contain enormous amounts of Vitamin C? (or something)

I gave up jogging for health reasons; my thighs rubbed together and my knickers caught fire!
  • apparently they're full of amino acids. They taste a bit like cranberries I think they're all right but nothing special. They are good for you though so I'll have to keep it up.

I've been adding a tiny amount of warm water to some goji berries and leaving them for at least 30 mins (or overnight in the fridge).

If you add the berry and water mix to yoghurt they are quite nice.
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

    My first post!

After reading about the amazing health benefits of goji berries I bought some off ebay and can't stand the taste (I don't like aniseed, which doesn't help). Anyway, I was wondering if someone could tell me whether swallowing them whole would have the same effect health-wise as chewing them?

    Many thanks in anticipation...

Can't help at all, I'm afraid, but at least you've got your first thanks! :)
