Hi all,
I'm moving home next week.
I have BT Broadband and operate a desktop (hard wired) and laptop (wireless) through a Netgear router.
When I turn up at the new house, BT are transfering the line and broadband. If I unplug everythingfrom the phone line at the old address and plug into the new address will my Brodband still work?
Or do I need to do anything else?
Thanks,
Andy

It's my guess that it *should* work, but probably won't

it can take up to 2 weeks for BT to switch you line. if you have given them enough warning then n the day you move, bt should get things turned on and ready. BT should have given you an email with the details. so hopefully you just need to plug in and wait for things to turn on.Laters

Assuming the OP is bringing his old router with him will his username and password be the same?
If I am not mistaken one of them includes the telephone number which will no doubt change if he moves house.0 -
It works. Yipeeeee0
