Solar / Wind powered shed suitability

Just had a nice new shiny shed fitted. Old shed had power fed to it from the house, however the new shed has a nice sloping south facing roof and always gets a nice flow of wind (advantage of living near top of a valley!)
This has got me thinking about kitting my shed out with a solar panel, or perhaps a hybrid wind solution linked to a battery. Not interested in FIT or solar panels on house roof yet, looking to move in the next 18-24 months, and I'd like to take all the kit with me. However, as you'll see from the list below, I'm doing this on a budget (and expecting the shed to go up in flames) I would like to state I know I'm unlikely to be saving any money (mainly due to life/cost of batteries), a 230w panel will give me the equivalent saving of £30 a year, so this is more of a geek exercise / end of the world type thing
I'd like to it power a few things in my shed, shed light, xmas lights, perhaps a power tool or two on request (looking at a pure sine wave inverter for this, I currently have a 300w pure sine wave inverter), and also have an extension leading back to the house, and then split off so in the event of a power cut (had a couple recently) I'd be able to connect a couple of low powered lamps (22w each), TV&sky (150w) , fish tank (no heater, pump only 15w) etc
Been reading up on things. I think my solution is to have 1x230w 24 rated solar panel, hooked up to a mppt controller feeding a 12v battery. Idea is early in morning/later in evening voltage will drop from 30v but still be enough to charge a 12v battery, when an 18v panel won't, plus they seem cheaper than 12v panels. Also looking at having a 24v 300w wind turbine fitted to boost it a little at night (not so certain how effective these are mind) however the one I am looking at is DC, so would it just work with a normal solar MPPT controller?
This will then be fitted to a single deep cycle battery rated at 110ah. I don't want to discharge the battery much more than 50% so I've effectively got 60ah of power. I'm assuming about 4 hours of sunshine a day in summer @ 200w, so the panel will generate 800wh (66ah) which ties in nicely with using max 1/2 capacity of battery. Winter will probably only generate 30ah at best, which is where I'm hoping the wind turbine will pick up the shortfall but would I need things like a dump load etc?
Ok, to the actual kit.

1x 300w Wind Turbine 24 DC £139 (suitable?)

1x 110ah Deep Cycle batt £69 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290937452364?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
1x 230w solar panel (thought about building one, but really not much of a saving) £138

Total £240 (not inc wind turbine)
