MP3 on my car stereo

I have a Seat Ibiza 59 plate. The stereo has a CD player, and it says mp3 below the disc slot. Does it mean I can load 700 mb of music files and will be able to listen instead of the standard 80 minutes?

I'm 99% certain the answer is yes. To get to 100% have a look in your car's manual.

Typically you'll be able to do things like put each album in one folder and be able to skip by album or song. The manual will describe if you have to do this in a specific way.

I don't use folders and I have found in practice that once you get to about 90 tracks on a CD there are problems, after that the tracks don't sound right. Tried this in my own car and also in hire cars.

Never had that problem myself, though I have found that certain types of MP3 file can screw things up. 320kbps VBR MP3s are usually the culprits.

Some head units might not work with CD-RW discs, only CD-R in my experience.
