the keyboard on my daughters MSI netbook isn't working correctly.

Onlyy some of the keys work and they are typing gibberish when used.

Example

qoi[] = q
w = w
eu = e
z = z
x = x
cm = c
n = [space]

Anyone ever seen this.

Have checked the driver, the language settings etc etc and they are all fine.

Any help appreciated

    To test that it is not a problem with the hardware itself, run an OS off a Live USB drive. Such as the Try Ubuntu option of Ubuntu

    If no problems there then it just a settings/software problem.
