Switching to the SAME provider with the MSE Energy Club

Sorry if I've missed this in the FAQs (I did look, honest), but can someone tell me if it will work if I selected a fixed deal from the same provider as I was already with?
I don't want to find out that its being rejected in a few days time, only to find that all of the other fix deals have been pulled.
TIA.

No, telephone your supplier NOW (if it is a sensible deal).
Even if you did manage to use the site you would not receive any cashback so it is pointless.0 -

Grrrr
The site asks who you are with - so why do they not use some logic.
I don't care about the cashback - I guessed that wouldn't work. But the "home page" still says I have a switch "in progress" and I have an Email saying "thanks for switching"
Are you sure it won't work, or was that a guess?0 -
Just checked on the NP website, and Price Protector March 2017 no longer exists and has been replaced by "December 2017" and is £20 a month more!!!0

@MartinSLewis Please can you confirm if your energy club works if you switch to a deal from the same supplier that you are already with?
