PPI to claim or not to claim

Hello all,

i have a personal loan with barclays, only a year left to run from 7. i had PP up until about a year ago when i cancelled it. i signed a new loan agreement.

Would i be legible to a claim for PPI prior to the cancellation or have i shot myself in the foot?

Yes you can still complain, but if it was a standalone DD for the insurance, then one of your major complaints is null and void.

  • no the DD was in with the loan, if there is a good chance i could get win a claim i will follow it up. i thought that when i cancelled it then i cannot claim

whats the best way, using a company or going for it independently?

The claim company make you do the work and then take money off your back.
