Perfect homes character reference

Can anyone help? I have been asked to give a character reference for someone I know to buy from Perfect Homes. Happy to help if i can but im worried that if i put my name to it it could affect me if they cant keep up with the repayments. I have worked so hard clearing debts for years to finally be in a position where all my bills are now paid through direct debit, i dont want to risk this having a negative effect on my improving credit rating. Can anyone tell me if doing this character reference could affect me? Thanks!!

No, it can't. So long as it is only a character reference and you're not offering to be a guarantor. What will your verse be?

if you can talk your friend out of itDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
