How much will it cost to get a 5 lever deadlock fitted?

I'm moving into a new house and need to secure the entry and exit doors with secure locks to meet the insurance standard. The property is in NW London.
How much could I expect to pay to have a professional locksmith install:
1) A 5 lever mortice deadlock (BS standard) (supply and fit)
2) A rim lock replaced
Thanks.

Should be around £150 depends on the quality of the lock.
A well established locksmith that covers NW London is Banham

or do it yourself for about £300

When I last enquired about this a couple of years ago, I was quoted approx £125 to fit insurance approved high security lock to my front door + price of lock (which cost nearly twice as much as I could buy it for from an internet supplier).
In the end I bought my own lock & found a handyman to fit it for me, far far cheaper.
Price quoted is for a London suburb by the way.The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
You want to make sure that you buy the best quality lock you can afford, making sure it's anti-bump and drill resistant. Also make sure you buy it if using a handyman, so that their is no risk of copy keys....My Mind wanders, if found please return.0

What locks have you got on the door at the moment? is it a swap to upgrade the locks? Or drilling the door for new locks?

You cant bump mortise locks.. You can attack them with a drill but its a lot of work. Its not the same as a euro cylinder lock.

Hi
I'm not exactly sure what locks are there at the moment but when I asked the vendor, it's clear to me that its not sufficient. Old guy been there for 27 years, perhaps a rim lock.
£150 is a lot but then I don't know much about the price of these things.
How much would a handy man charge - £15 an hour, 2h to fit one 5 lever mortise lock?
Can you recommend some locks?
Thx.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -

Should take about 30mins to a hour to fit one (no more)
