Wild Tangent Games

I don't play these games and in an attempt to de-bloat this Toshiba Satellite Notebook, I find they can't be deleted, or at least not easily within my capabilities
Now it;s bugging me. Is Microsoft Visual 9.0.30729.6161 in the Program list a Wild Tangent Game? I see a list of 5 and 5 is the number of games I want to uninstall.

Thanks Sol...MY Games no longer shown on latest website. and can't even find Wild Tangent in Program Files. Have already deleted desktop icon so maybe it's already gorn.
Except it is still shown in Apps list , and when I click to uninstall it sends me to the Program List.

If i read the site correctly :
You'll need to "reinstall" the Wild Tangent (WT) program.
Then try to un-install the games listed in the WT program
Then un-install the WT program itself.

Thanks,Sol... will give that a miss, means I will have to register and then get tons of spam/whatever. Remember years ago Wild Tangent was a bad name.

In that case might be time to think about a backup / wipe and reinstall.

Spend the weekend getting a fresh start with your PC ^_~

Hopefully someone else can give you ideas to try before having to do that!


Oh "Microsoft Visual 9.0.30729.6161" is a part of the Microsoft programming environment called "Visual Studio" (used to create programs and games) it might have been installed by WT or another program for the program to run properly.
