additional enquiries

My estate agent gave me an update about 1 and a half weeks ago. They said my solicitor has had additional enquiries from my buyers solicitor for the sale of my house. I haven't heard from my solicitor about these additional enquiries. Should I be worried? I don't know why he wouldn't have contacted me about these enquiries? Will they always need the vendors help in sorting whatever these enquiries are? Thanks

Why not pick up the phone or email your solicitor? Maybe he can answer them himself. Maybe the letter didn't turn up. Maybe the EA is wrong. Maybe lots of reasons - we can only guess!
Just ring/email.

Try to get an email address. He won't have to make time for a call then. Most of my corresponding was done that way. Much easier than trying to ring - nobody wants to talk on the phone these days

Cheers, I'll have a look to see if I have it. Would they not usually contact you within a couple of days of receiving the enquiries if they needed you? Can they sometimes deal with enquiries without vendors help?0 -
Yes, they may be able to answer without your help. They also may think you're not hassling them so go to deal with someone who is, shoving yours to the bottom of the pile.
Depends how busy your solicitor/their assistant is as to how long they'll take to contact you. It may be that they're sitting on a letter, or have now drafted one to you and it'll turn up within a day or two.
