T-Mobile Prepaid data SIM?
I put the code in so yup. And yes, it's a PAYG T Mobile SIM.
BTW, when you said I could uninstall a Dashboard, did you mean Connection Manager?Debt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

Dial number is often *99#
The Mobile Partner that you installed from post #9 if you installed it. Remove the modem first.
Unless you would prefer to remove the 02 Connection Manager completely and to install the generic Mobile Partner software to the modem. That way when you plug it in, the Mobile Partner software will install, not the O2 Connection Manager.
But for that you will need a different download.0 -
Nifty, it worked! :j
I don't know how you know so much about all this, but thanks heavens you do. Thank you ever so much for taking time to sort it out for this technological luddite. :A
If I ever meet you in real life I will buy you one of these:
Thanks again, Nifty.:T _party_

T-Mobile is good for occasional daily use. The Three Mobile Broadband Ready to Go 3GB Preloaded Data Sim at £14.89 is better value if you'll use it for more than eight days over three months.
Ovivo for the price of a £20 SIM, will give you 750MB per month at no extra cost or 1500MB per month for £5 per month(will come out of the £15 initial credit), on the Vodafone network. But be careful not to go over or you'll pay extra at 16p per MB.0 -
Hi Nifty,
That T Mobile SIM isn't the best but it was easy to get just to use with the dongle. I'll keep an eye out for it. Giff Gaff also have a good monthly deal (3GB for £12.50) but that's per month - if I don't use it, I think it doesn't carry over. Still, one way or another they will work out MUCH cheaper than the £10.00/GB I'm paying with O2, so thank you very, very much! :TDebt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

That's why the Three deal is decent, as it last for up to three months.
Ovivo is good for the occasional user too.
Shame that O2 made their offering so unattractive. Their daily deal was fine.0 -
I saw the Ovivo offer - thanks for linking to it. I'm more than a casual user, so for me it wouldn't be enough.
And yes, O2 is really quite pricey. Three may be the way for me to go...if I use the 3GB next month, I'll transfer to Giff Gaff.Debt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20
