Hi,
I know all gloss white paint goes slightly yellow eventually, but can anyone recommend a brand that stays brilliant white for as long as possible.
P.S. I require the paint for indoor use.
Also what brand of undercoat do people recommend.
Many thanks, Kje.

Johnstone's Aqua water based gloss and matching undercoat is very good.
There's a lot of info about it on the web if you do a search.

For it to stay white you need to abandon gloss. Satinwood is formulated differently and stays white.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

any water based gloss will stay whiter than solvent based stuff - pros and cons , it doesn't smell as bad , dries quickly and doesn't yellow , cons , it won't have the mirror shine of solvent based gloss0

We used Leyland trade paint & it worked very well both as undercoat diluted down onto fresh plaster & 'neat' as topcoat thereafter.0

We've used white enamel paint in our hallway as it is hard wearing. This does not seem to go yellow. Just buy it in a big tin like gloss paint and paint it on in the same way.0

Satinwood is a much nicer finish than gloss, gloss loses its sheen in time. Satinwood doesn't.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0
