Ryanair - help

Hi, I have a return flight booked to spain in December with Ryanair, I booked it through Travel Republic.
Im now trying to log in to the Ryanair website to do the online check-in, I am putting in the correct details but its saying error, some details are incorrect!
Also, they ask for my reservation number, I only have the number given to me by Travel Republic and that doesnt work on the Ryanair site!

Frustrated

    Have you contacted Travel Republic?
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

You wont be able to check in online yet with Ryanair if you are travelling in December
    Its 15 days beforehand

    Taken from their site...
Ryanair’s online check-in service is available from 15 days up to 4 hours prior to your scheduled flight departure time(s). If both your outbound and return flights are within the 15 day period, at the time you check-in online then both boarding passes can be printed simultaneously (if your return is outside of this timeframe then you will be required to check-in within 15 days of your return date). Once you have checked in online the boarding pass can be reprinted up to 2 hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time.
    Have a nice day :)
  • Oh thanks for that mate :T

I didn't realise Ryanair allowed their flights to be booked third party. Always a recipe for problems that.

    They don't
Some TAs do it all the same though.
I've not heard of RA cancelling a flight because of it, but I wouldn't put it past them
Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.

Apparently Ryanair did cancel flights some years ago:

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/travelnews/2579474/Thousands-of-bookings-cancelled-as-Ryanair-clamps-down-on-screenscraping.html

    It's also in their T&Cs:

    2. Exclusive distribution channel. [FONT=Calibri,Calibri][FONT=Calibri,Calibri]This website and the Ryanair call centre are the exclusive distribution channels of Ryanair’s services. Ryanair.com is the only website authorised to sell Ryanair flights, whether on their own or as part of a package. Ryanair does not authorise any other websites to sell its flights. Ryanair therefore reserves the right to cancel any bookings made other than directly through Ryanair.com, including any bookings made through third party websites, including online travel agents, and further reserves the right to refuse to carry any passenger making such a booking. My son was booked to fly Salzburg-Stansted with his young daughter yesterday. He tried to check in online in the morning, more than five hours before the flight, but the website had crashed and it was not possible. So he had to check in at the airport.

And as usual, Ryanair made him pay: 70 GBP each!

What can he do to contest this and get the money back? There was another passenger with exactly the same problem.

I personally always check in days before because I know Ryanair is slimey and probably deliberately crashes their site on the day of travel, but still...

On top of everything the flight was delayed 3 hours but that wasn't Ryanair's fault, as we know.

Just email their contact centre with the reservation no and the time period you could not access - they've been pretty good at doing this in the past.

While I'm no fan of the way Michael O'Leary operates I don't think you've thought this through: if the site was deliberately crashed on the day of travel it would be down permanently, unless you think they're clever enough to make it crash just for the people travelling that day.
